AIM: To detect the expression of cytoplasmic inhibitor of apoptosis protein 2 (c-IAP2) and growth arrest-specific gene 1 (GAS1) in Hodgkin s lymphoma (HL) and anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) and to investigate the role of two genes in the pathogenesis of HL and ALCL.

一种恶性淋巴瘤，由T.霍奇金(旧译何杰金)于1832年首先描述。临床主要表现为淋巴结肿大、发热、皮肤瘙痒等。其特点为病程进展缓慢，常持续数年。肿瘤组织呈肉芽肿样改变,细胞成分较复杂,除具有诊断必备的里德－斯滕伯格二氏肿瘤性细胞外，尚有网状细胞、淋巴细胞、浆细胞及嗜酸性粒细胞等反应性细胞。随着放射治疗和化学治疗的进展，本病早期治疗可取得较满意的效果，是目前少数可治愈的肿瘤之一(见霍奇金氏病)。
