促吞噬作用激素
tuftsin
是血液中IgG分子Fc段上第289～292一节四肽缩氨酸(苏-赖-脯-精)。它具有增强白细胞的吞噬、游走、增殖等多种功能。因为tuftsin的产生需要脾的内羧肽酶和内环境，所以血液中tuftsin的水平与脾密切相关，脾切除后血液中tuftsin含量会锐减，也是造成脾切除术后凶险性感染的主要原因，由于促吞噬作用激素是在美国Tufts大学发现，为纪念其发现地故命名为tuftisn。
