【来源】
为秋海棠种植物花叶秋海棠的全草。
【植物形态】
花叶秋海棠 多年生肉质草本，高约60～80厘米。根茎肥大有节。茎有红棕色长柔毛，并混生少数白毛，节膨大。叶互生，斜心脏形，先端渐尖，多少浅裂，裂片为宽三角形，锐尖头，边缘有小牙齿和睫毛，上面绿色，并有彩色环纹，叶脉深红。聚伞花序腋生，有花8～10朵；花朱红色。有粗毛；雄花花被片4；雌花花被片5。蒴果有3翅，两翅短，一翅长。花期9月。 生林下、箐边阴湿处。分布云南、广西、福建等地。

全年可采，鲜用或晒干。
【性味】
酸涩，凉。
【功用主治】
消炎清热，解毒祛瘀。治水火烫伤，痈疮疖肿，跌打瘀痛。
【用法与用量】
外用：捣敷或研末撒。
【选方】
治跌打瘀肿：花酸苔、狗闹花叶适量，捣敷患部。
