| 科学哲学 science，philosophy of 从哲学角度考察科学的一门学科。它以科学活动和科学理论为研究对象，主要探讨科学的本质、科学知识的获得和检验、科学的逻辑结构等有关科学认识论和科学方法论方面的基本问题。现代科学哲学的形成可以溯源到J.赫尔1833年出版的《自然哲学研究序论》，早期的重要人物有W.休厄尔、J.S.密尔等人，19世纪末20世纪初的E.马赫、K.毕尔生、J.彭加莱、P.杜恒等都在各自的著作中阐述了科学哲学的观点，20世纪20～30年代B.罗索和L.维特根斯坦等人所开创的逻辑实证主义运动，促进了科学哲学的蓬勃兴起。20世纪40年代以后，科学哲学在反对和批评逻辑经验主义的过程中得到进一步发展，使有关科学活动的研究获得了惊人的发展。代表人物有H.赖兴巴赫、K.波普尔、W.奎因、N.汉森、T.S.库恩、P.费耶尔阿本德、I.拉卡托斯、S.图尔明、D.夏皮尔等。 |
