Methods:Hemoglobin electrophoresis,erythrocyte incubation osmotic fragility test(erythrocyte incubated osmotic fragility test)and the combination of mean corpuscular parameters(MCV),from August 2006 to October 2007 in a hospital were detected to screen neonatal α-thalassemia.

一种诊断血红蛋白病和地中海贫血的可靠方法。采用淀粉板电泳和纸上电泳，前者较好。常用pH8.6的缓冲液。为进行快速带鉴别可用pH6.5酸性缓冲液。可发现异常区带，初步确定异常血红蛋白。
