【性状】
本品为无色至淡黄色黏稠液体；气芳香，味甜。
【鉴别】
取本品适量，照葡萄糖酸钙项下的鉴别(1)、(2)、(3)项试验，显相同的 反应。
【检查】
溶液的澄清度 取本品10ml，用水稀释至50ml，溶液应澄清。 相对密度 应为1.10～1.15(附录Ⅵ A)。 pH值 应为4.0～7.5(附录Ⅵ H)。 其他 应符合口服溶液剂项下有关的各项规定(附录Ⅰ O)。
【含量测定】
精密量取本品5.0ml，置锥形瓶中，加水稀释使成100ml，加氢氧化 钠试液15ml与钙紫红素指示剂0.1g,用乙二胺四醋酸二钠滴定液(0.05mol/L)滴定至溶液 自紫色转变为纯蓝色。每1ml乙二胺四醋酸二钠滴定液(0.05mol/L)相当于22.42mg的C12 H22CaO14·H2O。
