【来源】
为灯芯草科植物走茎灯心草的根茎。
【植物形态】
走茎灯心草 多年生草本，高20～35厘米。根茎细长，常横卧，被褐色残存叶鞘纤维。茎直立，圆柱形，具3～4叶片。叶片扁平，禾叶状，长3～7厘米，宽约0.5厘米，基部成鞘抱茎，全缘，上面绿色，下面淡绿色，叶鞘下部带紫红色。花小，4～11朵结成稠密的伞形花序，基部有3片褐色叶状苞片；花序具不等长的柄而排成不规则的聚伞花序，基部有1片披针状线形的叶状苞片；苞片直立，绿色，下部带紫色，高出整个花序；花被裂片6，褐色或橘褐色，披针形，渐尖；雄蕊比花被片稍短，花药比花丝长；雌蕊伸出花被片，上部3裂，褐红色。蒴果3瓣裂。 生于草地。分布西藏等地。
【采集】
7～9月采挖，除去须根，洗净，晒干。
【性味】
性平，味辛微苦。
【功用主治】
理气止痛，调经和血。治肝郁气滞，胸胁疼痛，月经失调，崩中带下。
【用法与用量】
内服:煎汤，1～3钱。
