Volatile oils were extracted from leaf twigs in Biota orientalis by cellulase extraction(CE) method,simultaneous distillation extraction(SDE) method and stream distillation-extraction method(DSE),the components were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC/MS).
采用气相色谱-质谱法(GC/MS)分析酶提取法(CE)、同时蒸馏萃取法(SDE)和水蒸气蒸馏-萃取法(DSE)三种方法提取侧柏叶挥发性成分。

| 侧柏 Platycladus orientalis；oriental arborvitae 柏科侧柏属常绿乔木。又称柏树、扁柏、香柏。在中国分布极广，北起内蒙古、吉林，南至广东及广西北部；人工栽培范围几遍全国。是优良的园林绿化树种。木质软硬适中，细致，有香气，耐腐力强，多用于建筑、家具、细木工等；种子、根、叶和树皮可入药；用种子榨油，供制皂、食用或药用。树高可达20米。树皮红褐色，纵裂。小枝扁平。叶鳞片状，小形。雌、雄同株，球花单生枝顶。球果近卵形。种子长卵形，无翅（见图）。侧柏喜光，但幼苗、幼树有一定耐荫能力。较耐寒，抗风力较差。耐干旱，喜湿润，但不耐水淹。耐贫瘠，可在微酸性至微碱性土壤上生长。生长缓慢。寿命极长。播种前种子可用温水处理。育苗方式多用床式或大田式。一般春季播种，播后约10天幼苗出土。主要造林地多选海拔1500米以下的山地阳坡、半阳坡，以及轻盐碱地和砂地。一般整地后植苗造林，有条件的地方也可直播。主要虫害有侧柏毒蛾、双条杉天牛、松梢小卷蛾。
