本病主要病机在于热、痰、瘀 ,辨证多属于气血壅滞或痰瘀蕴结型 ,因而主要选取耳垂、大椎、心俞 ,采用叩刺放血之法以泻热邪行瘀滞 ,再配合常规体针的辨证施针和耳穴埋压的辅助治法 ,收到了显著的效果。

用手指压迫出血动脉能使之最易止血的部位。人体受到创伤往往会引起出血，严重的出血可致生命危险。各类血管出血中以动脉出血危险性较大。动脉出血时血色鲜红呈喷射状，并随心脏跳动而阵阵地向外射出。此时用手指压迫出血动脉作为应急措施，可使出血暂时停止。动脉血流方向是离心的，因此要在伤口近心脏的一端压迫动脉以阻断血源。压迫动脉应选择该动脉下方接近骨的部位，用力压向下方的骨面以闭合血管达到临时止血的目的。如面颊部出血可以下颌体表面，咬肌前缘处向下颌骨压迫面动脉，使出血停止。
