性质:分子量7000的生长因子,IGF-I来源于成年的肝和其他部位平滑肌细胞,IGF-Ⅱ来源于胚胎肝、胎盘。靶细胞都是上皮细胞之间质细胞,刺激分化细胞的生长与修复,结构上约有50%的氨基酸序列与胰岛素同源,同时还与葡萄糖转运及代谢有关。也可用于Ⅱ型糖尿病的治疗。
