fourth cerobroventriculus
位于延髓、脑桥和小脑之间，形似底为菱形的四棱锥体。下续脊髓中央管，上连中脑导水管，内含无色透明脑脊液。室顶大部分为小脑，后下部是由上皮性室管膜、软脑膜和血管组成的脉络组织，脉络组织前部为第四脑室脉络丛，有产生脑脊液的功能。脉络组织两侧为第四脑室外侧孔，后方为正中孔，通过此三孔，脑脊液到达蛛网膜下腔。
