【制法】
取净甘草片，照蜜炙法（附录Ⅱ D）炒至黄色至深黄色，不粘手时取 出，晾凉。
【性状】
本品为类圆形或椭圆形切片，表面红棕色或灰棕色，微有光泽，切面 黄色至深黄色，形成层环明显，射线放射状。质稍黏。具焦香气，味甜。
【鉴别】
照甘草项下的〔鉴别〕(2) 项试验，显相同的结果。
【检查】
水分 照水分测定法（附录Ⅸ H第一法）测定，不得过10.0％。 总灰分 不得过5.0%（附录Ⅸ K）。 酸不溶性灰分 不得过1.0%（附录Ⅸ K）。
【性味与归经】
同甘草。
【功能与主治】
补脾和胃，益气复脉。用于脾胃虚弱，倦怠乏力，心动悸，脉结 代。
