性质:将肝细胞、胰岛细胞和制造荷尔蒙的组织生长在中空纤维膜的外侧而形成的复合材料。中空纤维膜管由醋酸纤维素制成,是一种半透膜。流经中空纤维膜管内的血液,可通过膜壁渗透向壁外的细胞或组织提供葡萄糖、氧和营养物质以维持其存活,壁外的细胞可释放胰岛素或荷尔蒙,通过膜壁渗透入血液,从而起到调节机体的血糖和荷尔蒙作用。
