Using ANSYS program,and in thought of releasing stress step by step,we simulate tunnel excavation and support by the bench cut method in the soft rock,and study the characteristics of stress and deformation of surrounding rock and supporting system,then get the development regularity according to time of vault crown settlement,horizontal convergence and supported structure force.
