补充资料：白塔埠战役
解放战争时期，中国人民解放军华东野战军一部在江苏省东海县白塔埠地区，对国民党军第42集团军郝鹏举部进行的歼灭战。1947年1月下旬,当国民党军以重兵进攻临沂时，抗日战争胜利后率伪军起义，被任命为新四军华中民主联军总司令的郝鹏举,于1月27日率部叛变。郝被委任为国民党军第42集团军总司令（下辖4个师,约万余人）。华东野战军为诱使从新安镇进犯临沂之国民党军东援，以便寻歼援军，命令第 2纵队歼灭郝鹏举部。2月6日晚，第2纵队在山东省滨海地方武装配合下,突然包围郝鹏举部，迅速发起攻击。战至7日黄昏,歼第42集团军总部及第2、第4师共5000余人，俘郝鹏举。
