可能是依赖HBV才能复制的缺损病毒颗粒,直径35~37nm,核心为低分子RNA,外有HBsAg包膜。主要存在于表面抗原阳性者的肝细胞核内;而delta抗体,则出现于血液中。血清中delta因子阳性或delta抗体阳转,表明有HBV抗原及delta因子的二重感染。
