性质: 具有防止滑动面破坏的各种润滑剂称为极压润滑剂。极压润滑剂一般都含有极压添加剂。极压齿轮油、极压润滑脂、切削油、轧钢油等都含有极压润滑剂。这种润滑剂用于处在重载(或高接触应力)、高速、高温下滑动摩擦表面的润滑称为极压润滑。极压润滑通常是通过极压添加剂与金属表面生成极压膜将两摩擦表面隔开,以降低摩擦系数、减缓磨损,达到润滑的目的。
