性质: 又称双管压力计,是液柱压力计的基本形式,为最简单的、精度又比较高的一种压力计。它由两端开口作成U字形的透明管所构成。在未测定压力前使两根支管内的液面均恰在0点。测压力时两根支管内液面发生变化,如p1>p2。设被测液体及指示液体的密度为ρ′及ρ,则根据流体静力学原理可得被测压力为:P=P1-P2=(h1+h2)(ρ-ρ′)g=h(ρ-ρ′)g当ρ>>ρ时,则可得:p=p1-p2=hpg故当指示液的密度p为已知时,则可用液柱高差h来表示被测流体的压力。若p2通大气,p1的读数为表压。若P1通大气,P2为负压时,读数为真空度。如P1及P2按不同测压点,读数为压差。
