性质:包括电池使用寿命,循环寿命及搁置寿命。规定条件下,蓄电池的有效寿命期限称为使用寿命(service life),如起动用铅酸蓄电池约为3~5年,固定型铅酸蓄电池约为15~20年。规定条件下,蓄电池的容量降至额定容量的80%(如固定型防酸式铅酸蓄电池)或50%(如小型阀控密封式铅酸蓄电池)之前的充放电循环次数称为循环寿命(cycle life)。固定型铅酸蓄电池的循环寿命应超过1000次,小型阀控密封式铅酸蓄电池应超过200次。激活后的蓄电池或原电池在特定条件下仍能保持规定电性能要求的贮存时间称为搁置寿命(shelf life;storage life),又称储存寿命。
