100多年前,佐治格兰·麦基、印第安人奥古斯、杰克和伟科,加沙兰奴将一条用大麻绳及香柏木结扎而成的吊索桥悬吊在距加碧兰奴河230英尺高、横跨45英尺的峡谷上。1903年、1914年,吊索桥被加固改建。1956年,吊索桥两端用钢缆及混凝土加固,可承受13吨的压力。这座峡谷上的桥的主要功用大概就是让世人游览,领略摇曳空中的滋味。回此,来回走过桥,会得到公园主人签发的一张奖状,证明一次勇敢的经历。
