江苏省泰州市海陵区城西街道办事处
2006年1月6日，新城西街道办事处正式挂牌成立，由原来的老城西街道办事处与原西郊乡人民政府合并而成。新城西街道位于海陵区西北部，东至主城区，南接开发区，西邻九龙镇，北毗华港镇。通扬运河、南官河、引江河贯穿其中，328国道、宁启铁路横穿全境，交通便捷。地域面积32.6平方公里，下辖景光、安居、林机、闸南、海光、电化、闸西、招贤、森南、运河、西郊12个居委会和九里、任景、头营、唐楼、招贤、森南、森森、森北、麒麟、朱庄10个行政村。总人口7.8万，其中农业人口1.5万。街道办事处地址设在扬州路195号。
新城西街道办事处辖区内现有各类企业140家，其中列统企业27家，并逐步发展起具有城西特色的机械制造、化工、纺织服装、鬃制品四大产业群。其中，宇成集团、亚美橡胶、海力化工、唐仁集团、天泰制衣、江海鬃制品厂等列统企业已成为街道的重点企业。
全街道现有党（总）支部34个，共有党员1847人。2005年，党的建设、经济工作和各项社会事业取得新的成绩，被海陵区委、区政府表彰为“三个文明建设”二等奖。目前，城西街道正以崭新的姿态，磅礴的气势，为建设和谐美好新城西而不断努力奋斗！
