There are some problems of the pressure-rising pump and hydraulic butterfly check valve in Maoming Cogeneration Power Plant, such as the complexity of connection,the difficulty of maintenance, the low reliability and the low automation level.

For the long water supply pipeline, the prevention effect of adding hydraulic control butterfly valve at pump exit was better than that of installing wee-resistance buffer valve.

In pressure water supply pipeline,because of the designed hump and too rapid closing of hydraulic control slow closing check valve in the outlet,water hammer due to cavities collapsing was generated when the pump was closed.
