位于凤凰堆高阜之下。1954年3月动工修建黄河铁路便桥，于1958年1月1日竣工通车。1 960年8月三门峡水库拦洪前，便桥到期拆除。1 966年3月重建黄河铁路大桥，由铁道部工程三局第三处承建，于1970年10月1日正式通车。新建大桥为钢梁结构。24孔，桥墩为钢筋混凝土结构。桥长1196.6米，桥宽4.8米，铁路两旁为人行道，边沿设有铁栏扶手．桥身高程为344.38米，高出河床25.13米，枯水期高出水面18.38米，洪水期高出水面14.38米，平时高出水面16.38米，载重等级中一22。桥北端为东北向隧道，上通风陵渡车站；桥南端为西南方向隧道，经港13(潼关旧城)、公庄车站至孟塬车站与陇海铁路相接，是沟通华华北与西北的重要桥梁。
