Research on the prediction model of Chinese coastal port throughput

The development situation of China s coastal ports and factors affecting the harmonious development of the China s coastal ports was analyzed from the viewpoints of planning, capacity, source of cargo, cost and level of service of the ports.

This paper mainly introduces the comprehensive wharf throughput capacity of coastal ports throughout China and projects finished and put into operation during Year 2001-2005,analyzes problems concerning development and construction of China′s coastal ports,and puts forward ideas and suggestions on current port development and construction.

Modern transportation changed people s concept between the coastal ports and the interior of China, intensified their connection, extend the interior of the port cities and also.

The paper introduces developing condition of the national coastal ports;construction status guiding with layout plan of National coastal port;global economic depression due to subprime crisis;developing conditions of national ports;measures and suggestions of layout improvement, structure adjustment,scientific and technology investment improvement to cope with international trade depression.

This paper summarizes the basic situation of ports along Yangtze River, sums up a fundamental idea about their developments.
