性质:继钠/硫蓄电池之后的又一种高能蓄电池。它和钠硫电池有不少相似之处:如皆用金属钠作为负极;β′′-Al2O3为固体电解质;但工作温度稍低(250~350℃)。不同的是,它的正极是熔融过渡金属氯化物(NiCl2,FeCl2)加氯铝酸钠,而不是硫。它也有高比能量和长寿命的优点。由于能在放电状态装配,且能耐过充和过放,比钠硫电池有更高的安全性,缺点是比功率较低。
