Traditional Chinese teahouses are the organic places of towns in agriculral times, carrying the cultural functions of keeping in good health, enjoying leisure time , and connecting with each other in traditional society.

Based on this orienta- tion the small island is taken as an integer of land- scape for consideration in planning design, with emphasis laid on the Chinese Tea House, Chinese Garden, China Village and night scenery in asso- ciation with the Chinese culture and art of garden- ing landscape.
