      靠圆盘间的摩擦力实现制动的制动器,主要有全盘式和点盘式两种类型(见图)。①全盘式制动器:由定圆盘和动圆盘组成。定圆盘通过导向平键或花键联接(见键联接、花键联接)于固定壳体内,而动圆盘用导向平键或花键装在制动轴上,并随轴一起旋转。当受到轴向力时,动、定圆盘相互压紧而制动。这种制动器结构紧凑,摩擦面积大,制动力矩大,但散热条件差。为增大制动力矩或减小径向尺寸,可增多盘数和在圆盘表面覆盖一层石棉等摩擦材料。②点盘式制动器:制动块通过液压驱动装置夹紧装在轴上的制动盘而实现制动。为增大制动力矩,可采用数对制动块。各对制动块在径向上成对布置,以使制动轴不受径向力和弯矩。点盘式制动器比全盘式制动器散热条件好,装拆也比较方便。盘式制动器体积小、质量小、动作灵敏,较多地用于起重运输机械和卷扬机等机械中。
