Based on analyzing the reasons of the generation of the high-voltage line loss, this paper advances some measures for reducing the line loss.

The paper states some experience on middle and low voltage high-loss lines and desk areas of Shanxi network and presents several suggestions on energy saving and consumption reducing measures through two aspects of technology and management.
