Research purposes: Vibration rules of the track induced by passenger and freight trains for railways with passenger and freight traffic are investigated.

On the background of construction of Fuzhou-Xiamen railway line, the reasonable station spacing is discussed under the condition of mixed running of freight trains and passenger trains in which the passenger train’s top speed is 200 km/h.

Considering the imperfections of existing forecasting methods of passenger and freight railway volume and the stochastic fluctuation of the volume, based on the theory of gray system, the stochastic grey system model for forecasting the passenger and freight volume was established.

With the development of economy in agricultural and pastoral areas and improvement of the living standards of farmers and herdsmen, more and more farmers and herdsmen put in a new claim on the service of highway passenger and freight transportation.
