| 装饰艺术 decoration art 依附于某一主体的绘画或雕塑工艺。使被装饰的主体得到合乎其功利要求的美化。装饰艺术与人的日常生活联系广泛，结合紧密，如环境艺术设计、工业造型设计，日常用品装饰如服装、首饰、商品包装等等，几乎一切工艺领域均与装饰艺术有关。从其与装饰主体的关系看，它有双重性质。一方面它必须从属于主体，即装饰是从美感的角度来标明主体的特征、性质、功用以及价值。另一方面装饰艺术亦可从主体当中独立而出，显示出自己的审美价值，如中国古代汉墓中作为装饰的画像石、画像砖，它附属于整个墓室，与其浑然不可分离，然而，其精美、恢宏、古拙的画面完全可视为完美的艺术品。事实证明，其审美的意味有能超脱于主体性能和使用价值观念的趋向，从而具备了纯欣赏性的因素，导致了这些装饰性绘画与雕塑的独立。 在区别于工艺设计的狭义的绘画与雕塑中使用或汲取装饰艺术的形式特点创作的作品，通常称为装饰风格或装饰风。它们是自成主体、有自己内涵的独立型艺术，其强烈的特征是其欣赏性更强，造型上有一定幅度的夸张变形，并呈图案化趋向，色彩上多重视平面空间的对比关系，与强调三维空间的透视、光影的性质相左。 |
