   将天然纤维素经反应制成可溶于稀碱溶液的纤维素酯,然后凝聚再生纺制而成的一类再生纤维素纤维。它是人造纤维中历史最悠久、产量最大、品种繁多和应用广泛的大品种。按结构和性能不同,分为普通纤维(长丝、短纤维)、高湿模量纤维(如富强纤维、高卷曲纤维等)和强力与高强力纤维。普通纤维的吸湿、耐磨优于棉纤维,强度、延伸、耐光、耐化学则较差。富强纤维与棉相似,改性后耐磨和延伸性均有较大提高,强力纤维的延伸和延伸性均优于棉纤维。粘胶纤维的原料是木材、棉短绒以及竹、芦苇、甘蔗渣、麦秆等各种植物纤维制成的高a 纤维素浆粕。纤维素先与碱液反应,生成碱纤维素,再与CS2反应,生成黄酸纤维素钠,把它溶解于稀碱即为粘胶。粘胶经喷丝头成纤,在酸性溶液内凝固并接着拉伸而成。纤维截面可为圆形、椭圆形及锯齿形,纵向剖面呈圆柱形,或竹节、麦秆形。粘胶纤维广泛应用于织物、服装、工业用布等。高强力纤维可制帘子线,高湿横量纤维常与合成纤维混纺。
