自20世纪80年代以来,国内外对喀斯特洞穴的研究主要集中在洞穴景观形成机理、洞穴景观旅游价值评价、旅游洞穴类型划分、旅游活动对喀斯特洞穴环境影响、喀斯特洞穴景观保护等方面,并主要取得了几个重要认识:(1)喀斯特洞穴的发育以溶蚀作用为基础,但也存在着机械侵蚀、生物侵蚀、空气与气蚀以及各种沉积作用。
