It is shown from the analysis results of subbottom profiler,side scan sonar and bottom sample data that the northern Liaodong Bay shallow water area has advantageous nearshore and shallow water conditions and complex marine engineering geology characteristics.

Based on the data from the investigation from June to August during 1999 to 2006, we analyzed the nutrient level and changing trend in the north sea area of the Liaodong Bay to clarify the distributing characters and pollution status.
