English teaching nowadays is a kind of communicative,task-based teaching process,with authenticity principle as it s the most important principle.

The design of tasks should meet communicative, humanistic and variable principles, and have the corresponding evaluating method.

Based on the theory of communicative ability,the four characteristics of communicative oral English test and the status quo of current oral English test,this paper proposes to build the design principle and scoring system for communicative oral English test,hoping the validity of oral English test can be improved.

It also lays a foundation for the communication in English reading.

Linguists accepted the idea of functionalism linguistics and sociolinguistics from the late 1960s, and started to value the notion of communication in language,which is widely exerted.

The communicativeness of lexical teaching can be developed from two perspectives:adopting contextualized approaches in the teaching form;comprehensively presenting the meanings of words in the teaching content,especially counting the pragmatic information.

Under such circumstances,communicative testing has emerged as the time requires.

There are two kinds of mistakes in students language learning,one is operational errors,the other is communicative mistakes More attention should be paid to the communicative mistakes.
