汉中盆地

    位于中国陕西省南部,汉江上游勉县至洋县间的河谷盆地。又称汉中平原。东西长80千米,南北宽10~15千米。海拔400米左右。是断陷盆地。河流阶地发育,其中一、二级冲积阶地高出河面15米以内,平坦广阔。外围的第三、四级为侵蚀阶地,地面起伏。盆地北侧由外向内依次是变质岩中山、低山和红土丘陵,间花岗岩中山、低山;西侧以石灰岩中山和花岗岩低山、丘陵为主。属北亚热带湿润季风气候。年均温14~16℃ ,1月均温2~3℃,7月均温26~28℃。年降水量750~800毫米。宜种植水稻、小麦等。
