| 洪承畴（1593～1665） 中国明末降清大臣。字彦演，号亨九。福建南安人。明万历四十四年（1616）进士 。崇祯七年（1634）任兵部尚书，兼督河南、山西、陕西、湖广等处军务，镇压农民起义。后专督关中，俘高迎祥，逼李自成走商洛，使明末农民起义转入低潮。十二年调任蓟辽总督。十四年率八总兵、13万人，与清军决战于松山、锦州地区，大败后被困松山城。翌年城陷，降清。隶汉军镶黄旗。顺治元年（1644）四月，随清军入关。二年闰六月，受命至南京招抚江南各省，杀害南明抗清义士，坚持讨伐与招降并用，平定了江南抗清义军和南明鲁王、唐王（隆武）政权。五年回北京。十年五月，受命经略湖广、广东、广西、云南、贵州等处，总督军务兼理粮饷。到南方后，提出先固湖南，后安广西，得尺守尺，酌量进止的方针，对南明桂王（永历）政权所属抗清力量，实行长期军事围剿政策。十六年，督清军攻占云南后回北京。十八年自请致仕。康熙四年（1665）卒，谥文襄。 |
