The evaluation method of bearing capacity of RC composite beam bridge based on non-linear properties of the RC composite beam bridge is presented in this paper.

To combined bridges of prestressed continuous beam and arch, taking the Caoxilu bridge on Mingzhu line in Shanghai as a model, a research on the following four key technologies’ countermeasures was conducted.

Research on the long-span combined bridge type of continuous rigid frame and flexible arch;

Based on the summing\|up of application of composite bridges in the western China,the advantages and performance of composite bridges are introduced,which emphasizes on the features and the construction methods of the prestressed concrete composite beam,which can be prefabricated in the factory and concreted in site.

The schedule of such composite bridges is subsequently given.

Targeting the continuous beam-arch composite bridge in Peking-Tianjian Intercity Railway,this paper analyses theoretically the strain control of the bridge s cast-in-place cantilever and steel tubular concrete arch.

The calculation of the new type of GFRP composite beam bridge can be made by approximately converting the spatial issues of the bridge into the plane ones by means of load transverse distribution concept and the theoretic analysis of load transverse distribution factors of such type of the bridge will be then carried out.
