Finite element simulation of forming process for thin metallic flow field plate of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC);

Flow field plate is one of the key components in DMFC(Direct Methanol Fuel Cell),and flow-field is the most important part for flow field plate.

Various kinds of flow field plates in PEMFC, such as porous material plate, pin type, mesh type and serpentine type were reviewed.

At the different velocity and direction of wind,the flow field on warship deck can be calculated by CFD technique.

The results show that the breakdown voltage linearly depends on implantation dose and the interface charge,and the field plate can suppress the breakdown voltage sensitivity to interface charge.

According to our model,when the field-plate length LFP and dielectric layer thickness tox are optimized,the peak electric field decreases to 22 % compared with the condition with no field plate.

The influences of five parameters(the doses of the drift,the length of the field plate,the thickness of field oxide layer,the thickness of gate oxide layer,the doses of the channel) on the nonlinear Cd were discussed.
