According to some problems arisen in the operation of 100MW circulating fluidize bed boiler selective buttom ash coolers,this paper summarizes the reason to give rise to trouble,and gives improvement measure,and points out should strengthen supervision of operating parameters.

This paper discusses some notable problems during commissioning of selective slag cooler of 410 t/h CFB boiler, and provides methods to prevent and treat the slag block of the cooler, as a suggestion for regulating and testing the same type coolers.
