Based on the saturated liquid data from 1993 ASHRAE HANDBOOK, two substance dependent parameters in PT equation of state, the pseudo-critical compressibility factor ξc and the slope F, were determined for 33 refrigerants by taking (T, P8)i as input quantities and minimizing the average deviation in saturated liquid densities for each substance.
