Using FEM,an orthogonal design test of the excavation of deep foundation pit is carried out considering 4 levels of the prop stiffness,displacement flexibility number;elasticity modulus and so on,and the influences of these parameters on the excavation deformation are obtained.

In addition,the influence of flexibility coefficient and rail track parameters on the strength of rail joint is presented.

Experiments show that the flexibility coefficient which represents the characterization of discontinuity interfaces has an influence on elastic wave propagations.
