Aiming at the problem of flow around oscillating cylinder concerned in engineering, a circular cylinder oscillating transversely in a uniform stream is simulated by solving the N-S equations with SIMPLE algorithm in the system of colocated grids and dynamic mesh simulating moving boundary of the cylinder.
