non-verbal signs

  非语言符号(non一verba}signs)人类自然传通手段中的各种非语一言手段。诸如姿势、表情、眼神、形体动作、身体接触以及服装的选择、整容手段、香水气味和时间与空间的使用形式等都具有符号意义,都可以通过人的视觉、听觉、触觉、嗅觉等感知渠道来表情达意、它不但可以加强、扩大语言手段的作用,还可以弱化、抵消语言手段的效果。如表情会表现言不由衷,眼神可暗示人曰是心非。事实土,人类在交往沟通时,有相当多的社会意义是通过这些非语一言符号传递的 (孙俊山撰张燮审)
