This paper briefly introduces the technical process of the erection of main beam joints and main beam of 5t double-beam gallows crab bucket by usi ng 500×500 portal frame, sleepers and 50 t and 30 t autocranes, and expounds em phatically the overall design of the schemes, the selection of bearing platform s steel columns, the verification of the strength, and the erection of the platf orm, etc.
