The probabilistic distribution parameters of wind speed in wind farms are important indices that indicate wind energy statistical characteristics.

To model wind speed probability distribution of wind farm accurately,the random properties of natural wind should be fully recognized and then the calculation of wind energy potential can be obtained at the given sites.
