In the paper, we introduce the principle of equal precision frequency measuring, using CPLD and single chip microcomputer to realize applied circuit, and applying the level design method of VHDL language to design equal precision frequency measuring.

On the basis of the experiments of basic measurement and diffraction grating,the error of equal precision measurement and unequal precision measurement is respectively analysed,and the methods of data processing are set forth.
