大学外语教育学院简介 大学外语教育学院前身是大学外语教学部。1986年学校办学规模扩大，根据教学工作的需要，在公共英语教研室的基础上，成立大学外语教学部，2006年1月，更名为大学外语教育学院(简称外教院)。学院下设大学英语系和外语教育系，有五个教研室。二十年来，教职工由初建时的十几人，发展到今天的72人，其中专职教师63人，有教授8人，副教授19人。党员队伍由当初几人发展到今天的37人。教学设备从初建时的一无所有，到今天建立起四个了现代化的语音室，一个听力播音室，一个资料室，形成了一套完备的教学体系。在教学、科研、党建和思想政治工作和后勤服务等方面，建立了完备的管理规章制度；在教材、教法、考试和学业管理上不断改革完善，使大学英语教学完全走上了规范化的道路。 大学外语教育学院主要承担全校非英语专业博士生、硕士生、本专科生的英语教学任务。多年来，学院注意抓教学质量的提高，通过教研室集体备课制度、督导听课制度、教学工作、教学秩序检查制度和教学经验总结交流会等形式，及时发现和改进教学中的不足，促进了教师们教学水平的不断提高。学院重视加强师资队伍建设，努力提高教师的业务水平。首先利用电化教学和外籍教师等有利条件，组织教师在职进修；其次，先后选派17名教师到国外或国内重点大学访问进修，同时安排22名青年教师在职攻读同等学力硕士学位班学习。通过上述措施，大大提高了教师们的知识水平和专业素质，促进了教学水平和质量的提高，形成了一支比较年轻、思想过硬、专业素质良好的教师队伍，保质保量地完成了历年的教学任务。在每学期末各学院学生的民主测评中，大学外语教育学院的教师都获得平均90分以上的好成绩，绝大部分教师教学效果优秀。全校学生四级英语成绩通过率达到80%以上，在华东地区重点师范大学中，始终保持着名列前茅的成绩。2006年3月学院被山东省授予“省三八红旗集体”光荣称号。 大学外语教育学院自2001年开始招收教育学专业课程与教学论（英语）方向研究生，现有31名研究生在读，同时招收在职人员以同等学历申请硕士学位生。学院自1997年始招收英语教育专业专科生，目前在校生280名，专科生就业率、专升本升学率和专业四级通过率等分别名列学校、全省和全国同类院校前茅。 大学外语教育学院多年来坚持以教学促科研，以科研带教学，教研和科研成果显著，先后获省级教学成果一等奖3项，二等奖2项，校级教学成果奖7项；承担国家级研究课题2项，省级、校级15项，出版教材、著作270多部，发表论文、译文320余篇。有5项科研成果获省社会科学优秀成果奖、山东高等学校优秀科研成果奖。 在高等教育改革发展的大好形势下，大学外语教育学院全体教职工将团结一心，集中精力，真抓实干，不断提高教学、科研水平，以更高的教育质量和丰硕的科研成果为山东师范大学的发展做出新贡献！
