In the test and evaluation investigation of Baotou Huanghe River Bridge on Baotou-Shenmu Railway,it was found that the transverse stiffness of the Bridge could not meet the requirements in the codes and specifications,and it was determined that the Bridge must be strengthened and the strengthening design of the Bridge would be mainly based on the transverse natural vibration frequency.
