通过对武汉市1986-2004年经济发展(人均GDP)和交通噪声(平均等效声级)监测数据进行三次曲线模拟与二者关系分析,结果表明:随人均GDP的增加,尽管武汉市车流量不断增加,城区交通噪声等效声级则呈波浪式下降,经济发展(人均GDP)与交通噪声等效声级之间已表现出环境库兹涅茨曲线(EKC)右侧特征,所采取的一系列环境保护措施对交通噪声的减小起到了比较好的控制作用。
