d .onCf gongl口电磁功率(eleetromagnetie power)通过发电机定、转子间的电磁作用，经气隙电磁场传送给电枢绕组的有功功率，即电磁制动转矩与转子角速度的乘积。电磁功率减去电枢绕组的电阻损耗，就等于发电机的输出功率。电磁功率加上发电机励磁绕组电阻损耗，定、转子铁芯损耗及通风损耗和轴承的摩擦损耗，就等于原动机输人发电机的机械功率。 同步发电机在恒定励磁、恒定频率和恒定电网电压下对称、静态运行时，电磁功率和功率角有关(见透平发电机特性曲线)。如果发电机转子发生振荡，则电磁功率不仅和功率角有关，还和功率角对时间的导数有关。前者为同步电磁功率，和同步电磁转矩相对应;后者为异步电磁功率，和阻尼电磁转矩相对应。 发电机带不对称负载静态运行时，对应于电枢电流的正序及负序分量，电磁功率中将包含正序及负序两部分，其中电磁功率负序分量的传送方向是由电枢绕组经气隙箱人转子的。
